Each quadrant is made of about 20, 30 second images dark subtracted and Added. This makes each quad a 9 1/2 minute image. CCDOps performed image capture, dark subtraction, minor sharpening and some Digital Development Processing (DDP). PaintShop Pro v6.02 helped in combining the mosaic and adjusting levels.

This is my second mosaic attempt of m31. After much adjustment I figure this is about as good as I am going to get it. This image is made from five f1.95 fastar frames of different positions around the core of m31. It suffers from optics error that I am unable to correct with this image set. Perhaps if I took middle images and cropped them they would correct the optical error seen across the middle.
