Jim and Robert helped get some of the 2x12x12ft beams up. I tackled the joists on my own. They are long, heavy and very difficult for one person to work with ten feet
over the ground level. Nuf said.
With more help from Robert and Jim the decking process was begun, lateral
braceing added etc.This is typical pressure treated pine 5/4 by 6 inch decking. The deck is laid using an 8 foot and sixteen foot plank in alternating fashion.
