Elliptical Galaxy M110 (NGC 205) in Andromeda. Also known as The Sombrero galaxy for its shape.
This image is full resolution 800 x 600.

Optics: Celestron C8 SCT @ f6.3
Adapter: Celestron 6.3 reducer
Date: 08/30/2006 Time: 05:00:00 to 06:00:00 UTC
Exposure: 300 seconds each Lum x 9 = 45 minutes total exposure
Filter: SBIG CFW8-A, Clear
Resolution: Lum = 800 x 600, Binned 2x2)
Guiding: SBIG ST-2000XM with internal TC-237 guider and A0-7 Adaptive Optics
Acquisition: SBIG ST-2000XM camera
Mount: Losmandy G-11 with Gemini GOTO
Software: SBIG CCDOPS ver 5.40B6NT, dark subtracted, flatted and images added.
NOTES: partial high thin clouds. Camera cooled to -10c below ambient temperature binning 2x2 with this setup reduces the image in half and resulted in a 2.4 arcsecond per pixel image. The f6.3 reducer made the fl 1281mm. Total image field of view (fov) is 31.9w x 23.8h arcminutes.
